For those not so keen on 'motivational' posters at work, there is solace from the good people at Despair, inc., who produce an excellent range of demotivational apparel, mugs ('This mug is now half empty'), and other literature. Particularly good is their poster generator, which helped me to make this:

Ther are now fewer skulls -- but the picture of Cardinal Wolsey (above fireplace) remains. I've become rather fond of him, and the lovingly painted wart on his nose.
I hope my students don't feel this way about supervisions. Even though I sometimes feel this way about supervisions....
Of course I don't really think this about all supervisions... Nice office, though!
